BlackBerry have launched a new browser based game/promotion called “Type Amaze” which appears to be a cross between a promotion and mini-game.
It isn’t featured enough to really call it a game but it is a fantastic way to show off the BlackBerry Z10 virtual keyboard, against other devices.
The goal is to work your way through a small maze by typing out certain words with your device’s keyboard.
When you’re finished, which doesn’t take long, the ‘Type Amaze’ will tell you how many keystrokes you have used to reach the end.
It will also tell you how many keystrokes a BlackBerry Z10 would have taken in comparison.
We tried it with one of us using a BlackBerry Z10 and the other an HTC One and the Z10 keyboard was always quicker due to ‘flicking’ words.
